阿修羅の流れは、奥入瀬を代表するビュースポットで、躍動感あふれる水の流れが苔むした巨岩に激突し、渓谷屈指の豪快な景観を生み出しています。
奥入瀬渓流の観光ガイドやポスターなどでよく見る光景がこの阿修羅の流れです。
奥入瀬渓流（おいらせけいりゅう）は、青森県十和田市の十和田湖東岸の子ノ口（ねのくち）から北東に、焼山（十和田市法量（大字）焼山（字））までの約14kmにわたる奥入瀬川の渓流です。十和田八幡平国立公園に属します。国指定の特別名勝及び天然記念物です。
渓流沿いにはいくつもの滝が点在し、この道は「瀑布街道」とも呼ばれています。十和田湖への魚の遡上を阻止してきた魚止めの滝でもある銚子大滝をはじめとして、阿修羅の流れ、雲井の滝等多くの景勝地があります。
渓流沿いには車道とともに遊歩道が整備されており、新緑や紅葉の時期は多くの観光客で賑わいます。
奥入瀬渓流の魅力を生み出しているのは安定した水量と穏やかな流れです。氾濫することの少ない奥入瀬渓流では、点在する多くの岩や渓流沿いの木々に苔が生育し、他の渓流では見ることのできない緑一色の景観を生み出します。また、遊歩道もすべて渓谷林の中に整備されます。流れと歩道がほぼ同じ高さにあるため渓流に親しめるのも、水量の安定によって実現できている魅力のひとつです。

The Oirase Geyser is a mountain stream of the Oirase River that stretches about 14 km from Nenokuchi on the east shore of Lake Towada in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, northeast to Yakeyama (Hōryō (Ooaza) Yakeyama (Aji) in Towada City). It is part of Towada-Hachimantai National Park. It is a nationally designated special scenic beauty and natural monument.
A number of waterfalls are scattered along the stream, and the road is also called the “Waterfall Road. There are many scenic spots such as Choshi-Ohtaki Falls, which is a fish-stopping waterfall that has prevented fish from flowing up to Lake Towada, Asura Flow, and Kumoi Falls.
Along the mountain stream, there are both roads and trails, and the area is crowded with tourists during the season of fresh greenery and autumn leaves.
What makes the Oirase Geyser so attractive is its stable water volume and gentle flow. In the Oirase Stream, which rarely floods, moss grows on many rocks and trees along the stream, creating a green landscape that cannot be seen in other mountain streams. In addition, all of the trails are built in the canyon forest. The stream and the trail are almost at the same level, making it easy to enjoy the stream, and this is one of the charms of the stable water level.
