今回は小樽の奥沢地区にある商店街を歩いてみました。奥沢地区は100年以上前から勝納川に沿って発展してきた町です。勝納川の水を利用した工場が多くありました。今ではゴム工場だけが残っています。またこの辺りはお寺が多くあり、寺町としても栄えました。観光客もほとんど来ることがない地区で、昔からの小樽の暮らしがここには残っています。
