Mirano Kitazawa festival was held in Sado Island, after a long time vacation on the public event for COVID Pandemic Realities.
Even though there were no COVID victim cases in Sado, but there was an alert for public event arrangement.
Miraino Kitazawa is one of the events for children’s entertainment with parents. Different type of sports, performing arts, culture, and food were served in the festival, as like as Japanese fair festival.

Note: The gold vein of Sado Island were discovered in 1601, and later become the Aikawa gold and silver mine. During its peak production period, from around 1615 to 1645, the mines on Sado produced an estimated 400 kilograms of gold and 37.5 tons of silver per year, making Sado one of the largest producers of gold and silver in the world. The productions we continue until 1989.

歴史ある金山の重要な史跡であり、かつては相川高校プールやゴルフ練習場など市民にとってスポーツやレクリエーションの場であったこの地が、再び活きた場所として生まれ変わるよう、地域一体となったまちづくりを目指して。。。さあ、キックオフ！！
