Hello Everyone! Here is video of Ngyuen Hue Walking Street in Ho Chi Minh City on reunification day in Vietnam 2021. This was recorded early when Saigon just announced a mild shutdown, but not a more severe lockdown. Nguyen Hue Street was still open and people came to celebrate. There was no worry about Vietnam virus problems yet. As time progressed, Vietnam lockdown increased and Vietnam today has severe lockdown that close spas, beauty salons, barbershops, medical clinics, aesthetic hospitals, restaurants, night markets, tourist attractions, historical sites, museums, libraries across the city. The Saigon lockdown has hurt many businesses and they have closed permanently. Bui Vien Walking Street is closed completely, except for a few food shops.

Vietnam travel resumed on June 3. Civil aviation authorities lifted the ban on inbound international arriving flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City prematurely, though no reason for this was given.

I hope you will enjoy watching this video from only a few weeks ago when Vietnam news was not so bad and many people enjoyed the evening walking with their family and loved ones. I will give Vietnam lockdown update in my next video.

Everyone please stay safe, healthy, and happy!!
