Bank Balance Requirement for Tokyo Visa – When we applied for visa in 2018, VFS refused to accept the visa application without 10Lakh rupees bank balance. But then I submitted my mothers bank statement too, to show 10 Lakhs in total. So you can show all your family member’s bank details. Also if you have any other investments like SIP, Mutual Funds, Shares etc, do show them as well.
In general, Japan’s visa is very hard to get, so if you dont have any prior international VISA, I would recommend not to apply for Japan first, instead go for easier VISA’s like Thailand and other Asian countries first, then try for some European countries, and after getting some good international travel history, try for Japan Visa. Hopefully it will help 🙂

On November, 2018 we visited Japan from Kolkata, India. In this 10 days trip, we visited the Capital Tokyo, Hakone and Fuji Five lakes region near Mount Fuji and also the cultural capital Kyoto. Also we witnessed the breathtaking views of the fall colors.
In this episode, we will be exploring the breathtaking cityscapes of Tokyo. But in the next 2 episodes we will be visiting Mount Fuji and Kyoto respectively.
