It’s been almost two years since I grabbed my DSLR for travel and started making a short film.
As a creator, I’ve been spending time alone for such a long time.
Because for an introvert like me, spending time alone makes me feel so comfortable, and also it’s more productive.
But sometimes it’s not like that because you cannot always get inspired and motivated just by yourself.
In that situation, you’d better push yourself to come out of your shell and interact with people. Then, they might broaden your horizons and bring you to the new world.
In the last few months, I’ve had opportunities to go shooting with some creators, and I learned a lot of things and got inspired so much by them.
Now, I realized the fun of creating something with somebody.

一眼カメラを手に入れ、動画を作り続けてからほぼ2年。
気軽に遊べるクリエイター仲間が周りにいなくて、これまでずっとほぼ一人で動画を作ってきました(被写体になってくれた人は除く)。
僕は「それで良い」と思っていました。内向型である自分にとって、1人でじっくり考えながら作る方が、ずっと有意義であり、生産的だと思っていたから。
でも常に自分ひとりでインスピレーションを得続け、モチベーションを高め続けることはとても難しかった。
そんな中、ありがたいことに、この数ヶ月間で沢山のクリエイターと一緒に撮影に行く機会ができ、彼らからあらゆるノウハウを知り、刺激を受けました。
殻から抜け出し、新しい人と出会うことが自分自身の視野や考え方を広げてくれた。
自分が知らない世界へ連れて行ってくれたクリエイターのみんなには、本当に感謝しています！
またコロナが落ち着いたら撮影行きましょう！
