In this video we’ll be taking you to one of Japan’s strangest tourist attraction, the Unko Museum in Fukuoka. Can poop be cute? Let us know what you think in the comments!
The Unko Museum is an amazing pop up exhibit all about poop. We visited the Unko Museum in Fukuoka, but the main location is in Tokyo so it’s definitely an attraction you won’t want to miss.
The exhibit is spilt into multiple areas. After entering you’ll arrive at the Unko Maker section, where you make your very own unko to carry around the exhibit. Then you’ll enter the “Unstagenic” area, colourful poop rooms full of Instagram worthy photo spots. The “Unteractive” area is next, where there are family friendly interactive games such as squish the poop. Look out for the unko volcano, that erupts small colourful unkos at irregular intervals. Then you’ll enter a retro gaming area, with plenty of unko themed games. Finally, you’ll exit through a poop themed light instillation into a gift shop stocked with kawaii unko goods.
