Centuries of tradition on display🙌🌱🌳
Known as the temple of flowers, Hasedera Temple ( @hase_dera ) in Nara Prefecture was founded in the year 686. Settled in on the top of a mountain, visitors who make the climb up can look out at breathtaking views out into the nearby valley. The temple is surrounded by magnificent nature; blooming peonies in the spring and ravishing red leaves in the autumn. Inside the temple is Binzuru, a Buddhist statue that is said to have healing powers.
