Spring is pretty much synonymous with cherry blossoms here in Japan, so this year, in light of the situation, we decided to just hunt for them around our area of Tokyo. Due to the erratic weather, full bloom was a little shorter than usual but we still managed to catch the blossoms at two spots: Kitazawa River Greenway and Koganei Park.
Hopefully next year we will be able to have a picnic and make the most out of all the cherry blossom snacks because everyone was asked to refrain from having ohanami parties this year!
