About a million years ago, not only COULD we travel, but we DID travel!
Well, okay, it’s only really a few years ago, but it feels like a long time. Upon our return from the fire festival in Miyajima, we planned to see the illuminations outside our hotel on Peace Boulevard. After a slight detour that included a trip to the police station, we had a lot of fun with the interactive sets they’d built for the new year. I wonder how different illuminations would have been for the end of 2020?
Once again, editing our videos has made me incredibly grateful for the Edventures we’ve been able to have in the past few years. I know we’ll have more, but who knows when?! Hopefully the vaccinations will start rolling out on a larger scale soon and we can figure out how life will be post pandemic.
