Hamanako GardenPark is a place I recommended in Japan, and, is located in Hamamatsu City, western Shizuoka Prefecture.
It’s free to enter and is recommended as a children’s play ground, family picnic and lover’s date spot.
Hamanako Garden Park is a lush city park built on the site of the 2004 Pacific Flora Garden Exposition and the 21st National Urban Greenery Fair Shizuoka, where you can relax and enjoy the seasonal scenery.There are over 20 facilities where you can enjoy the views of the open spaces and beautiful seasons of nature along the shores of Hamana Lake, including the 50m observation tower that is regarded as a symbol of the park, the colorful Flower Museum, and the Pleasure Boat Cruise on the waterway that runs through the park.
The seasons are very important to Japanese people, and they are very sensitive to their changes as well. There are many customs specific to each season, such as distinctive foods or activities, and the changing of the seasons occupies an important position in Japanese culture and traditions.
