Hiking in Japan: Ryuou Mountain (竜王山); Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi

I hiked Ryou Mountain in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi in late November. This mountain is rather steep if you enter from the torii gate side. When you get to the top there is a small Shinto shrine with long stone steps, which was pretty cool. There is a swing along the trail that allows you to swing as if you’re flying off the mountain. Also, at the summit of the mountain is a bell that you can ring. It was the first mountain I hiked with such an attraction.
