OkiWan Historial Tour in Aja and Ameku in Naha Vol.1

A west part of Aja and Ameku in Naha were the coast side and cliff place in long time ago.

After the battle of Okinawa, a large size of ocean there was landfilled and made new roads, port and town there. Now there are new town known as Akebono town and Minato town.

The Aja port (Naha New Port) built after the landfill is the venue of the Naha Haarii (Dragon Boat Race) in Golden Week every year (cancelled this year).

Because there was the coast line and hilly location, people didn’t come frequently and there are still many gods enshrined.

For the movie Vol.1, showing Ebisu Shrine which has old execution spots (cave) in Ryukyu Kingdom, Ukishima Shrine and Mother dragon.
