Hokkaido is blessed with snow and every year in February a large scales snow festival will be held in Sapporo with cities all around the Prefecture also joining in the snow sculpture creating spirit. The 2021 Snow Festival has be postponed indefinitely/cancelled, but an online version is available at their website which includes the history, making and also asking people to share their favorite photos and videos of the event from the past.
This video is a compilation of my fond memories of various visits to the Sapporo Snow festival over the years. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Bless you all and hope we can all visit this lovely place soon.
