Olympic Torch Relay Day 14 – Mie 🗾 Here are some of our favourite moments from the first day in Mie Prefecture! The journey began in Yokkaichi City, a location that was built on an old market town. From there, the flame made its way to Suzuka City, Kameyama City, Tsu City and Toba City. The day ended in Ise City – home of Japan’s two most sacred shrines, the Ise Shrines, and over 100 other smaller shrines that are scattered across the region. 🔥
