Ootsuyama Aso Shrine (大津山阿蘇神社)
It is situated at the foot of a small mountain of 256m, called Ootsuyama, in the town of Nankan, Kumamoto Prefecture.
The deities worshipped here are Takewatari no Kami and Asotsuhime no Kami.

Tofu Restaurant in Nankan Town.
Freshly prepared tofu and soya milk dishes using soya beans and well water are very popular these days, especially with female customers.
The restaurant’s most popular dish, “Higo Gozen”, is a set of tofu dishes that includes namaage, colander tofu, okara-age, and gojiru, which is soy milk with bittern that is almost solidified and eaten as it is.
