Mt Hakkoda is mecca of backcountry ski in japan. There is only small ski resort. But Mt Hakkoda has huge ski area like a mountian filed. So lot of skier comes to there for backcountry include foreigner. We can go up to Top of the peak via ropeway. Skier spread to owm route with guide and enjoy fresh powder snow. Mt Hakkoda also very famous snow monster.
