What’s up family worldwide! Hopefully you’re all still alive and chasing your dreams, whatever they may be. Don’t let anyone reign you in.

I’ve decided to start a series of videos I’m calling “Japan Be Like..” Some of you know, some don’t, I lived on The Pearl Of The Orient for almost 10 years straight, from 2003-2013. I even wrote a book about it, called, ‘THE ETERNAL OUTSIDER, 10 Years Black In Japan”, it’s on Amazon, maybe I’ll put the link in the description so you can cop one.

Anyway, I’m going to give a rendition of my experience(s) living in Japan, Nagoya specifically. Nagoya is pretty much centrally located among the archipelago of islands that comprise Japan. Nagoya is the capital of AICHI PREFECTURE, which is the main city in the CHUBU region. Chubu has the 3rd highest population of all Japan.

World famous Toyota uses Nagoya as its headquarters. It’s got a sick castle, lots of dope parks, a cool underground music/art scene all its own, and great food everywhere. I keep hearing Nagoya’s got a bad rap about being ‘boring’ or ‘weird’ or whatever but I enjoyed every minute of my time there, even the minutes I didn’t enjoy were great.

In my Japan Be Like series, I hope to not only give you some insight into my experience there, I also hope to take you on a journey with me to a really far away, really very special and unique place. Japan is like no other country on earth, and even among the other Asian nations, Japan stands out in terms of its mystique among people all over the world. It truly is The Pearl Of The Orient.

I hope you dig these blogs, wait, are they vlogs? Blobs? Bobs? Whatever, I hope you LIKE and SHARE these with whomever. If you have questions, get at me, I love talking about my fascination and ongoing relationship with Japan.

I LOVE JAPAN!!! Peace Out Family.
