沖縄の古宇利島の海です。
沖縄本島北部にある、エメラルドグリーンの海に囲まれた小さな島古宇利島。古宇利大橋の開通から今や沖縄でも最も人気の観光スポットになりました。
昔、古宇利島は「クイジマ」あるいは「フイジマ」と呼ばれていました。語源は諸説色々ありますが、恋島がクイ島になって古宇利島へと変化していったいう説が根強いのは、「沖縄版アダムとイブ伝説」の言い伝えと関係しているのではないでしょうか。
島じゅう丸ごとパワースポットともいわれる古宇利島は、沖縄の数ある島の中でも特別な存在なのです。

Kouri Island is a small island surrounded by the emerald green sea in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa. Since the opening of Kouri Ohashi, it has become the most popular tourist spot in Okinawa.
In the olden days, Kouri Island was called “Kuijima” or “Fuijima”. There are various etymologies, but the theory that Koishima became Kui Island and changed to Kouri Island is deeply rooted, probably related to the legend of “Okinawa version of Adam and Eve Legend”. ..
