This time, I walked around Otaru Koen dori shopping street. “Koen” means park. This street connects Otaru Park and Suitengu Shrine. The arch with the words “ミツウマ” is the symbol. ミツウマ means three horses and is the name of a rubber maker in Otaru. Since it is located in the center of the Hanazono district, which is the downtown area of Otaru, there are more restaurants than shops. Moreover, there are many shops with a good reputation. Since it is far from the station, there are few tourists and it is a little-known place.

今回は、小樽の公園通り商店街を歩いてみました。この通りは小樽公園と水天宮を結ぶ通りになっています。小樽にあるゴムメーカーのミツウマの名前が書かれたアーチ看板がシンボルです。小樽の繁華街、花園地区の中心部にあり、商店よりも飲食店街多いです。さらに隠れた名店が多いです。駅からは離れているため観光客が少なく、穴場的な場所になっています。
