What beautiful peach flowers at Taga Shrine in Fukuoka Prefecture! 🍑 As March 3rd is known as Hinamatsuri, or Doll’s Festival, in Japan, it’s a day that celebrates girls and prays for their health and happiness 🎎 However, some might not know that since peach blossoms bloomed to protect against evil, the Doll Festival is also called the Peach Festival! Boys, don’t you worry though, as there’s a day designated just for you as well on May 5th called Children’s Day, or Boy’s Day! 🎏 Thank you @ramumi8 for the stunning spring photo!
