We had a cold but fun time visiting the Festa Luce Festival of Lights near Lake Towada, Aomori. We love trying all the different types of Japanese street food! Dagne’s favorite is mochi or dango. We also love to visit a local carousel sushi restaurant called Hamazushi. It’s fun to watch your sushi be delivered and to stack up as many plates as you can! There’s no more snowboarding for Dagne this season because of her broken wrist, but she will be back next year! So far we’ve been to Okunakayama Ski Resort, Hachimantai Ski Resort, Aomori Spring Ski Resort, Makado Ski Resort, Appi Kogen Ski Resort, and Hakuba Ski Resort.
