Headed to Shikoku | Episode 1 | Visiting Shikoku & Wakayama

Our trip to Shikoku starts with a long train travel day to Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture.
Come along with us and experience the amazing Tokaido Shinkansen ride from Shinagawa Station all the way South to Okayama Station.
During the trip we snack on some onigiri, get an amazing view of Mt Fuji, and then tuck into a train bento for lunch.
At Okayama Station we transfer to the Yosan Line which takes us over the Seto Inland Sea onto Shikoku.
Our long day ends with a fantastic dinner at a small local joint which seemed very surprised to be hosting a couple foreigners.

We’d recommend the Airbnb unit that we stayed in. It is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities needed. It is also located in a great neighbourhood with lots restaurants and shops very close by, along with 2 train stations 5-10 minutes away by foot. Best part is the host who is helpful and courteous and genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay in her unit.
