A Spaghetti House? How is this Japanese? Good question and to be honest I was also skeptical. But a good Japanese friend from Nagoya told me that this is the secret local food from Nagoya, so I had to check it out!
For one, because I love pasta and for two, I did see this in the local Konbini’s and was already wondering why this was so popular. So, of course, I was going to try this not-so Japanese food…
And this Nagoya Restaurant, the “Yokoi Spaghetti House” is the birthplace of it! Founded by Hiroshi Yokoi, the creator of the famous Nagoya “Ankake Spaghetti”. So join me as I visit this historic place 😜 to eat their signature dish!
