Arao-higata Waterfowl and Wetland Center (荒尾干潟水鳥・湿地センター):
The Arao Higata Waterfowl and Wetlands Center is a facility developed by the Ministry of the Environment as a project under the direct control of the Arao Higata, which was registered as a Ramsar Convention Wetland on July 3, 2012. Since 2013, the Ministry of the Environment and Arao City have been working together toward construction, and the museum opened on August 10, 1945. The center is managed and operated in Arao City.
