Taiwan will always be a special place. Our huge family took a 5-day trip to Taiwan visiting the famous old town of JiuFen where the movie, Spirited Away was inspired, ShiFen, where we saw the “Niagara falls” of Taiwan, PingXi where we released floating lanterns, Chiang Kai-Shek, and Sun Yat-Sen memorial halls, Huashan Creative Park, and the ShiLin and XiMenDing night markets.
We tried poop ice cream in Modern Toilet, silky tofu with runny century egg, and my first ever, stinky tofu which smelled terrible but was delicious, in the night markets! The best ending to this trip was discovering the best Taiwanese pork chop rice in a makeshift restaurant at the back of a parking lot. Watch the vlog to see what else we did on the trip.
