A video for those who want to do anything BUT teach English in Japan. Recently been catching up on some of my favorite Japan-based Youtubers and glad to see that Dogen is still alive and kicking (and hilarious as ever).

Really enjoyed his vid on the subject:

And just wanted to add a bit of practical tips and advice from my end whether you are looking for a career in Japan as an English teacher, or something else entirely.

This video will be broken down into two parts:
1) Some “in demand” careers in Japan right now based on if you speak great Japanese (N1~N2) or if your Japanese still needs some brushing up (N3~N5).
2) What to do if you are stuck in an English teaching job but would like to pivot out of it and are stuck on how to go about doing so.

A bit of a longer one this time around but just wanted to get my thoughts out here! Coulda been much longer and gone into more detail on some aspects for sure, so if there are any questions at all don’t be afraid to drop a comment or DM me directly! Cheers!
