◆ Fushimi Inari Taisha
It takes about half an hour by trin from THE GATE HOTEL.There is about 30,000 inari shrines all over Japan and Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head of all the inari shrine. Fushimi Inari Taisha has history of over 1300 years old known to wish for bountiful harvests, business prosperity, the safety of families home and all kinds of other wishes.
◆ Please remember the rules in visiting a shrine
1. bow once in front of the shrine gate
2. Be sure to avoid walking down the center of the path, as that space is reserved for the gods to pass through
3. you would wash your hand and mouth by water
4. Making your offering
5. Bow twice and clap twice

◆ Popular visiting spot in Fushimi inari Taisha
– thousands of Torii gate called SenbonTorii-
These torii gates was sent by people visited there as a return when their wishes came true. It has been a habit since Edo era up until now. The Torii gate now is more than 10,000 including g the big one and the small one.
.This is also very popular as a photograph spot with the brilliant view. We recommend you to visit here early morning in week days or take photos up to the hill.
