Pearl Harbor is among the top places to see in Hawaii. It’s a big memorial with various attractions, like USS Arizona Memorial, USS Missouri, USS Bowfin Submarine, and Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum on Ford Island. In this video, I show you USS Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri (or Battleship Missouri), plus everything you need to know to properly plan your visit.
We then go for delicious Hawaiian food: a typical poke bowl 😋
🚩 Please note that this trip to Hawaii was in 2020, just before the pandemic. Since then, they have been operating on a reduced capacity at Pearl Harbor, especially for USS Arizona. Visit their website at nps.gov/perl to find out the latest updates about ticket distribution.

The Pearl Harbor attack by Japanese forces occurred on December 7, 1941. This is what brought the United States to World War II.

► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world… stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he’s actually camera-shy, that’s why he’s behind the camera most of the time 😉
