Located in the Minami district of Osaka, Dotonbori is a lively and eccentric part of town.
Running alongside the Dotomborigawa River, this district sparkles like a miniature Times Square; you’ll find streets plastered in billboards, shops and yet more delicious restaurants.
The bars, restaurants and food stalls are constantly buzzing with eager crowds lining up to try the famous beef shabu shabu, deep fried kebabs and crab. Take a boat ride on the Dotonbori Canal to see some of Osaka’s most notable sights.
