Starting out in Nagano station, we’re jumping on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Asama service on the E7. This route was originally constructed for the ’98 Olympics and was open just prior to that at the end of ’97. Two decades later, the line continues to be extended.
Today we’re following the original route, Nagano to Tokyo on this 12 car train.
