Japan tourism – Must watch for people looking to visit Japan
After relaxing for the night, we were up and kicking for awesome experiences that Tokyo had in store. We thought visiting Teamlab Borderless would be a great kickoff for our Japan Odyssey. Before pushing off we Googled the place to find out how busy it was going to be through the day.
Having our BnB in Shibuya, team Labs was a good 45-minute train commute from Shibuya station. Handy with this information, packed the camera equipment, filled our water bottles, and started our 10-minute walk to the Shibuya station.
Having bought a Jr pass (details shared in an earlier blog) we got onto the train in a jiffy. Jr pass holders have a separate queue, wherein the pass is checked at the entrance of the station. We completed the first leg offer journey using the Jr pass after which we had to switch lines. We had already bought the Suica IC cards while visiting Akihabara the day before. So we went past the access gates swiping our IC cards. During our ride, we saw the famed Rainbow Bridge.
The metro journey ended at the Tokyo teleport station in Odaiba, which is a five-minute walk from Teamlab borderless. Tourists can choose to walk or take a free bus ride from the teleport station to all the attractions located in the Odaiba area.
We got down at VenusFort and started making our way to teamLab Borderless.
Teamlab Borderless is a Digital Art Museum. This museum offers a sense of enriching art experience. Not only can the visitors see and feel the artworks, they can also interact with them and affect other artworks in the museum.
