Walking Vacations For Seniors – 4k Walking Tour Of Mt. Tolmie Provincial Park In the City Of Victoria BC – Walking Tours For Seniors 2020
Sites To Sea Brings on a tour of Mt. Tolmie Provincial Park In the beautiful city of Victoria BC, Canada. This is a great walking tour video for seniors or anyone who loves beautiful scenery but who are confined to being indoors. Perhaps it’s the dead of winter and you don’t like the cold. I don’t know. Whatever the reason, if you enjoy walking tours, this video is for you.
The view from up on top of the mountain on a clear day is breath taking. On clear days, walking around, you can clearly see Mount Rainer in Seattle from atop mount Tolmie. As well, in the foreground you can see all the beautiful smaller islands that around Victoria Like San Juan Island,
While the U.K and Eastern countries offer great visual walking tours, places like Amalfi Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento or Florence, Italy, (I love Italy) this virtual 4k video offers a view from the beautiful wild Pacific northwest of Canada. With it’s cities nestled in and around parks and old growth trees that overtake the horizon it’s easy to forget that you’re in the heart of an urban center. Walking around in the city it seems so large, but from atop the mountain, the view makes the city seem like you could tour the whole place in one afternoon.
The video camera I used for this virtual walking tour video is the 4k Sony 9.2 mega pixel handy cam. This walking tour video was shot in 60fps. 4k60fps I find is the best option for walking tour videos, as it leaves a clear enough picture while moving around.
Virtual Senior Walking Tour videos are a blast to create. Living on Vancouver Island I have a unique opportunity being surrounded by many worldly destinations. Places like Portofino, Tofino, Nanaimo (ha ha, jk, sorry Nanaimo). I got into doing this after watching a few walking tour videos of places like Rome and other places in Spain. Then I figured, hey, these walking tour videos would be great for seniors too! There are so many places here that surround me that are beautiful and I believe deserver to be appreciated by all, in 4k.
Victoria Is known as the garden city, and in June and July it truly is breathtaking. It truly is a national treasure to tour around. This 4k video was shot in October, sadly after most of the summer foliage had gone, and the color is slightly more earthen and fall like. You can get a clear 4k shot of downtown. It’s hard to believe that places like historic Chinatown and The Belvedere, that seem so far apart when you are walking from one another, could seem so small and close together from the vantage point of atop the mountain.
