There is an organization called Nipponia. Under the theme of “Nostalgic and New Japanese Life”, they are running sustainable business using historical Japanese buildings. Nipponia Kosuge, located in Kosuge village with a population of 700 which is about two hours from the center of Tokyo, is one of the member hotels of this group. The hotel was built by renovating a house that is over 150 years old. The room and the foods were excellent and it was a wonderful experience.
