This time, I walked around the shopping street in Iwanai Town. Iwanai is a port town located 2 hours and 30 minutes from Sapporo. This is a small town where about 12,000 people live, but there is a big shopping street. First of all, I walked along the “Ekimae-dori” shopping street. “Ekimae-dori” means the street in front of the station, but unfortunately there is no station now. Nevertheless, this street is wide and well maintained as the main street of the city that welcomes tourists.

今回は，岩内町にある商店街を歩いてみました．岩内町は札幌から車で2時間30分の所にある港町です．12000人が暮らす小さな町ですが，大きな商店街があります．最初に，駅前通り商店街を歩いてみました．駅前という名前ですが，残念ながら今は駅がありません．それでも観光客を迎い入れる町のメインストリートとして，この通りは広く綺麗に整備されています．
