During the new year celebrations, many Japanese visit one of the main Shinto shrines in Tokyo, the Meiji Jingu Shrine. This shrine was built in 1920, so it is now 100 years since its inauguration. I hope you can feel the festive new year mood in Japan (despite this year’s challenges) and experience this delightful walk to the main shrine.
