2020 was a pretty bad year travel-wise, and going to Tokyo DisneySea was the biggest trip we took… While I usually don’t bring a camera for this kind of family outing (I tend to just use my iPhone), I decided to bring my newly purchased Lumix S5 to see how I could manage to take some quick run-and-gun videos.
I like to shoot videos with the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8, but like most Sigma lenses, it’s a beast. Big and heavy! So, instead I used the small and light LUMIX S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6. Honestly, I was quite surprise by the quality of this kit lens for video. Definitely not as good as a prime (especially for low light), but in a well-lit environment, it’s a good option.
None of those clips have been stabilized in post as I’ve been running into issues with Final Cut Pro after upgrading my Mac to Big Sur…
