「紅富士」は、真冬の朝、日の出の直後の一瞬、雪が積もった白い斜面が光で照らされ、鮮やかな紅色に染まった状態のことを言います。
「紅富士」が山中湖の湖面に「逆さ富士」として映る早朝を狙いに訪れるカメラマンも多くいます。

“Beni Fuji” is the name given to a white slope covered with snow that is illuminated by the light and turns a brilliant red color for a moment just after sunrise on a midwinter morning.
Many photographers visit Lake Yamanaka in the early morning
to capture the “upside-down Fuji” on the surface of the lake.
