Sakurajima Island, Kagoshima, Japan

In February of 2019, I visited Kagoshima, Japan.

My friends and I toured Sakurajima Island. We rode a ferry to get to the island. Mt. Sakurajima recently erupted at that time. You can see the ash from the volcano. Smoke was still coming out of its crater!

We went to see Ogawa-no-taki (Ogawa Waterfalls). We hiked a little to reach the falls. The place is really beautiful!!!

For lunch, we ate black pork (kurobuta) tonkatsu! It was so delicious!!!

We had a great time. I hope I can come back again soon!
