From this lofty viewpoint, they may look like huge keyholes, but these architectural masterpieces are in fact ancient tombs! 🔒🔑 Known as ‘kofun’, these ancient Mozu Tombs in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture make up Japan’s most recently designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

⭐ TIP: Head to the 21st-floor observatory in Sakai City Hall to get a better idea of the scale of the largest bomb, Daisen Kofun and others nearby.
