Where I’m from, train stations are transient places – only existing momentarily in our lives to pass through and get to another place. Before I moved to Japan, I never thought to explore a train station, let alone go Christmas shopping or go on a date in one (I mean…I haven’t done the last one YET, but other people do it)!
