Although Hanazawa is off the Tokaido, it is a village at the entrance on the Yaizu side of “Yakitsube no Komichi,” which was an ancient path between Shizuoka and Yaizu. Climbing along the river, we will see a long village, and many traditional houses with stone walls and wooden walls remain. Take a leisurely stroll through this village to the dam at the top of the swamp.
