Misumi West Port:
The stone-paved harbour and Western-style buildings, which were built in the Meiji era, remain intact and have been used as locations for many films and TV dramas.
It is the harbour which was inscribed as one of the components of the World Heritage Site “Industrial Revolutionary Heritage of Meiji Japan: Iron and Steel Manufacturing, Shipbuilding and Coal Industry” in 2015.
