Then I’ll show you around Osu shopping arcades & Osu kannon. I often came here when I was a high school student. 😉

⭐️ 大須商店街 osu shoutengai
The Osu Shopping District has flourished since the Edo period (1603-1868) as commercial streets centered on the gates of Osu Kannon.
Unlike Sakae where is Nagoya’s downtown business area.
It has existed for 400 years as the commercial streets.
Arcade streets are over 1,700 meters in total.
The streets are packed with restaurants and shops selling clothing old and new, sundries, electronics and appliances, and more.
Osu is also a fashion district visited by men and women of all ages who seek budget apparel, stylish accessories, and used clothing.
The area has more than 1,200 businesses, ranging from establishments of very long standing to shops that are brand-new, and is a popular sightseeing destination.
It is a multinational community where you can encounter culture, fashion, and dining from a wide range of countries.
You can enjoy eating around in Osu.
⭐️大須観音 osu kannon
This temple was originally built in 1324 near Kuwabara-cho, Osu, in present-day Hashima, Gifu Prefecture, as a Buddhist temple associated with the Shinto shrine Kitano Temmangu. It was relocated to its present location in 1612, when Nagoya Castle was constructed.
This temple that gives its name to Osu area receives many visitors as well as holding numerous festivals and other ceremonies.
