Episode 8: Bandō Sanjūsankasho Pilgrimage Circuit | Sensōji Temple

I resumed this pilgrimage for the first time in half a year. Although it was not the shortest route to drop at Haneda Airport, I did that.

■Place: Idogaya Station – Yokohama Station – Kokudō Station – Haneda Airport – Rainbow Bridge – Tokyo Tower – Sensōji Temple – Asakusa Station
■Distance: 46.6km(≒29.1 miles)

-Bandō Sanjūsankasho pilgrimage circuit
Bandō Sanjūsankasho is the 33 temples dedicated by Minamoto no Sanetomo, the 3rd Shogun in the Kamakura era(1192-1333). These temples are scattered in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Ibaragi, Tochigi and Gunma and visiting these temples are called Bandō Sanjūsankasho pilgrimage circuit.
