Good morning everyone and welcome back to my youtube channel. Today, I will be showing you day 2 of my Izu travel! We got up and decided to go outside to feel the breeze and hear the ocean waves a little better. Unlike yesterday, we are able to see the other islands of Izu. Oshima Island is on the left and Kouzu Island on the right.
We finally arrived at Shirahama beach! I think seeing beaches with sand this white is quite rare in Japan. I’ve only seen sand this white in hawaii and felt like I got a feel of both Japan and Hawaii at the same time. It was really nice to come in the winter because no one was there. It was like we had the beach all to ourselves and I don’t know if it was because of corona but since there weren’t that many tourists for some time, the ocean seemed to recover and cleanse itself.
On the way home, we decided to spoil ourselves and go back with the limited express called Odoriko. This train is operated by the East Japanese Railway Company which runs between Tokyo and Izukyu Shimoda station.
It was really nice to be able to travel Japan again! I’m excited to vlog more around Japan and take you guys with me!
