Hi I’m backkkkkk! Recently went to Wakayama Prefecture in Japan to go on the Koyasan Choishi pilgrimage hike which is a World Heritage Site! The trail ends at Koyasan which is an active Shingon Buddhist monastery area filled with temples you can explore and stay at. I stayed at Ekoin which can cater to vegans according to HappyCow! We enjoyed some amazing plant-based vegan Buddhist food which don’t include garlic, onion etc as well!
