Ningyocho Area Guide (PDF)

Ningyocho Station (人形町駅, Ningyōchō-eki) is a subway station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line (operated by Tokyo Metro) and the Toei Asakusa Line (operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation). It is located in the Ningyocho neighborhood of Nihonbashi, Chūō, Tokyo, Japan.

On the Hibiya Line, Ningyocho Station has two platforms separated by two tracks. Track 1 is for passengers traveling toward Ginza and Naka-meguro Stations. Track 2 serves those heading toward Ueno and Kita-senju Stations.

On the Asakusa Line, Ningyocho Station has an island platform between the two tracks. Track 3 carries trains to Nihombashi and Nishi-magome Stations. Trains stopping at Track 4 go toward Oshiage Station.

Suitengumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line is about 500 metres (1,600 ft) approximately 6 minutes walk from Ningyocho Station.

Amazake Yokocho
Slightly removed from the high-rise centre of Nihonbashi, this shopping street is dotted with restaurants and interesting knick-knackery. Be sure to investigate side alleys.

Tsukiji has prominence in food culture, and Ningyocho has long-established shopping arcades. Facing the Sumida River and Tokyo Bay are areas such as Tsukuda and Tsukishima where you can explore the quaint streets and visit restaurants of various cuisine.
Not only does Chuo City provide a broad variety of experiences in traditional performing arts and artwork, but also plays an important role in being a central source of the latest information with new establishments and large commercial facilities continuously being built in the area.
