2020.10.27(tue.)PM16:25～西日の中、宿を目指します。タイトルには「どんどこ湯」としましたが、隣に併設されている温泉です。国道57号線は2016年の熊本地震により被害をうけた場所で主要幹線の道路・鉄道が寸断されていました。道路はそれまでミルクロード等の迂回や代替えバスの利用を余儀なくされていたそうですが、2020年10月3日から2ルートが復旧・開通したばかりの道です。（鉄道は2020年8月8日にJR豊肥本線が開通）。翌日はここから新阿蘇大橋の建設を近くに見ながら高千穂を目指します。さらに復旧作業中の迫力の現場が見れるドライブとなってます。
