Nishina Pass is located in the middle of the Izu Peninsula, and is an extension of the Nishi-Izu Skyline on Prefectural Road 59. This area is perfect for driving as the road runs along the mountain range, connecting the ups and downs of the mountains at about 1000m, and connecting the roads between them. The Nishina Pass is 897m above sea level, and the whole area is covered with kumazasa, which looks like a green carpet in fresh green season. Of course, you can see Mount Fuji to the north. Fuji in the north. The trekking trail leads to Amagi Pass via here. At this point, we are far enough away from the city to be covered with stars at night. It is a good place for astronomical observation. However, it is often windy and the wind from the Pacific Ocean rises and clouds tend to form in this area. The stars are clearly visible, but conditions may not be as favorable as they should be.
